Hello again, PUCLonians! I hope you are all having a great December. If you are living in a cold climate, I hope you are  imagining a warmer environment in Alola and making regular visits! I am still making my way through Sun, slowly, but surely! But being December, it is that time of year again: time to consider what presents to get for the Pokemaniac in your life! If you want to see the suggestions I made last year, check out my article, here. But without further ado, let’s get into it.

Pokemon is so HOT right now, you can find a plethora of clothing that is actually pretty stylish, cool, and even classy at places like Target (here too) and Walmart. Find something your Pokemon fan can wear proudly.

Earrings, keychains, lanyards, belts, wallets, etc. If your Pokester is not able to sport the Pokemon T-shirts as part of their regular ensemble, hook them up with some awesome accessories! A great way to add a little flair to a more traditional wardrobe. I can attest that I wear at least two of these items on a daily basis! Check out Spencer Gifts for these and more!

Board Games and Puzzles

For me, jigsaw puzzles are a bit too frustrating and time consuming, but, my wife, Doctor Audino, loves them. In fact, she put together the Kanto and Johto puzzles almost on her own! Snagorina did the one that came in a pokeball. A great family activity.

If you don’t love board games, you should. What’s wrong with you!? And if you like Pokemon, you should check out some of the ones above. There are Kanto and Johto versions of the classic game Monopoly (if you’re going to play that game, play by the real rules! No house rules) as well as new games like Hedbanz, which is a kids game where you have to guess what Pokemon is on your head! Aimed at kids but I am sure it would be fun for adults after a few adult beverages. Also, if you are in a cooperative mood, check out Forbidden Island and the Pokemon Themed expansion I adapted to it! You can find most of these items at Game Stop or Target.

Anything Pokemon!

Anything Pokemon!

Window clings, mugs, posters, and of course TCG! All of these things are fun interesting pieces that any Pokemon fan can enjoy. Best thing about a lot of the material out right now is that it is geared toward Gen 1, appealing to those who started playing the games 20 years ago or if they caught the Pokemon bug this year with the advent of Pokemon go! Most of this stuff can be found at Game Stop or Walmart.

And last, but probably the best…

From Gen 1 to Gen 7, there are plushes out there for everyone. Grab their favorite starter or other Pokemon and let them cuddle it throughout the holiday!

And here is the wonderful thing about plushes… With over 800 characters, there is bound to be at least that almost anyone can like.

And don’t forget the 20th Anniversary plushes. You can still find a lot of these at Toys R Us.

With that folks, I have run out of gift ideas… I hate to admit that a few to many of these pictures were taken in my own home. Hopefully this gave your some ideas on what you can get your loved ones this year in relation Pokemon. What will you get for the Pokemon Master in your life? Leave a comment below! And come back tomorrow when The Fluffiest Whimsicott let’s you know what items she things make the perfect gifts! I also want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Until next time…
