Welcome to another exciting issue of Pokemon News here on PUCL. All of you guys are probably having a great time battling us gym leaders for the Summer League this year. My first day starts today as a matter of fact, so I look forward to seeing you guys in the chat to battle for my badge. Anyway, let’s get into the news.
In Mystery Dungeon news, a small teaser and more information for the upcoming “Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon” have been revealed. The teaser did show off some in-game footage, much of which resembled Gates of Infinity, but that’s probably because its still on the 3DS so whatever. One thing that isn’t similar to GOI is the starter Pokemon that you can be. GOI only allowed you to pick from Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and Axew. In SMD however, You can choose from EVERY starter Pokemon from EVERY generation, with Pikachu and Riolu finishing off the roster. Not only that, but EVERY Pokemon as of now will be in the game, unlike GOI limiting to a few other from previous gens and everyone from Gen 5. The plot is also new to the series, involving the legendary Pokemon dealing with other Pokemon turning to stone. (I wonder if Yveltal has anything to do with that….) The game is set to be released in Japan on September 17th of this year, with a North American release scheduled sometime this Winter. Nice to see Japan back to its old game release ways, but I’d assume we all have the virtue of patience at this point.
And that’s about it with the news thus far. Its starting to get a little dry, but maybe I’ll get lucky and CoroCoro leaks something really nice soon. Till then, see you guys next week, or at my gym…..
