Welcome to the newest issue of Pokemon News here on PUCL. I’ve been going crazy lately with the news drought I’m having over here, but thankfully, there is some news to talk about this time around. So let’s get right into it.
In distribution news, two new distributions have been revealed. The first distribution is the first distribution of Hoopa outside of Japan. No attacks or abilities have been confirmed for this Hoopa, but European countries will be able to receive Hoopa later this month, with a United States release still yet to be announced. All I have to say is that its about time we got Hoopa. Now if we could just get Volcanion.
The second distribution that was revealed came from CoroCoro itself, so you know its important. And indeed it is. The Shiny versions of Xerneas and Yveltal have been revealed, having been impossible to obtain in the games legitally at this point:
Both Pokemon are Lvl. 100. Xerneas knows the moves Geomancy, Moonblast, Aromatherapy and Focus Blast. Yveltal knows the moves Oblivion Wing, Sucker Punch, Dark Pulse and Foul Play. A regular Zygarde will also be distributed alongside the shiny legends, knowing the moves Land’s Wrath, Extreme Speed, Glare & Outrage. These distributions are only happening in Japan, and no confirmation of distributions outside of Japan have been mentioned.
In Pokemon Go news, Niantic, the development company making Pokemon Go, has received a generous investment of $20 million from Nintendo, Google, and even the Pokemon Company to help them with the development of the upcoming mobile game. With this amount of money from companies like Nintendo and Google being invested into an independent company like Niantic shows that Pokemon Go is going to be quite the game when it is finally available.
And that’s it for Pokemon News. Normally, I’d say that I would see you next week, but as you can see, that doesn’t normally happen. So I will see you guys the next time I have more news.
